The XI613101 encoder module enables the connection of an incremental encoder with differential signals (RS422) in a ctrlX I/O station. Input frequencies of up to 1 MHz can be evaluated. Alternatively, it can be used as an up/down counter. The 5 V encoder supply can be provided directly via the module's connection points. The four additional digital inputs, which are designed in 2-wire technology, are used to record application-specific signals (e.g. blocking, saving, referencing). <br><br>The logic and peripheral voltage supply as well as the EtherCAT-based module communication are routed through the module.
