The digital input module XI190202 is used to detect binary 24 V control signals in a ctrlX I/O station. The module is designed with 2 channels in 2-wire technology. The signal state is shown at the channel LED on the removable peripheral connector. The signals are sampled at an adjustable sampling rate (oversampling factor n) relative to the bus cycle time. The module provides n-bit process data for each bus cycle, which is transmitted in the subsequent bus cycle. The input reading is synchronized with other EtherCAT participants with high precision using a distributed clock. To suppress interference signals, the inputs are filtered with a 1µs filter.<br><br>The logic and peripheral supply as well as the EtherCAT-based module communication are routed through the module.
