This standalone processor is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This product offers a maximum of 8 local rack and 16 remote rack configuration with up to 19456 discrete I/O channels and 4864 analog I/O channels. The Modicon M580 automation platform complies with "TC" treatment requirements (treatment for all climates) and can operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to +60°C/32°F to 140°F. This controller can help hybrid manufacturers to achieve better, measurable, earlier ROI and Up to 100% returns on their project investments in less than three months. It is equipped with 1 Ethernet port for service, 2 Ethernet ports for ring remote I/O network (Remote IO racks only) and 1 USB type mini B for programming console. It has an integrated RAM of 12MB for program, 1024kb for data, 10kb for system memory and expandable flash of 4GB for data storage. This product is IP20 rated and offers 780710 hours of MTBF. The new grey design is applied for this module with a weight of 0.849kg and its new dimensions 64x130x135mm. This module meets the needs of applications in Transportation, Water and Waste Water, Consumer Packaged Goods, Mining Minerals Metals, Power generation, Energies and Chemicals, and Data centers.
