What is the Honeywell ONS-YPD-2?
Optigo ABS Plastic Dual Passive Optical Splitters are based on Passive Optical Networking (PON), and the passive splitters are a key enabler of the flexibility and efficiency that PON installers have come to love. Only PON can create a physical network topology that exactly matches the layout of your smart building. Optigo’s splitters are completely solid state Optics, and require no power, cooling, or any maintenance whatsoever. In addition, they are completely immune to electromagnetic interference and high voltage. They can be installed anywhere and never require access for maintenance.
Optigo’s passive splitters creates a customized topology to match your intelligent building’s physical layout and your requirements for high-availability. The star or tree topology is excellent for airports with terminals 1,2,3 or shopping malls with North, South, East, West wings. The Daisy-Chain works well for high-rise buildings. Simply run a single fiber up from the basement and split it on each floor. Rings are especially well suited for perimeter surveillance. Features & Benefits:
Optimize cabling throughout your smart building by running a single fibre
A wide selection of splitters enables a variety of flexible and expandable architectures
Available in rack-mount or compact form factors
They require no power, no climate control and no maintenance
