The mapp Axis "Basic" license allows the use of mapp Axis on the target system. It is required if axis functionality is used. Only one license is necessary per target system. Functional scope:
mapp Axis provides all functions for basic control of single axes. The axis functions are based on PLCopen Motion Control Part 1 V2 and include functions for drive preparation, base movements and even complex coupling functions for synchronizing multiple axes. Access is always the same, regardless of whether the axes are electric, hydraulic or servo-hydraulic.
