Sunblind Box; 8DI/DO

<p>The WAGO Sunblind Box, 8DI/DO, is a Modbus TCP-based remote I/O device.</p><p> </p><p>It features eight digital outputs distributed across four channels, with each pair of channels protected by a 6.3AT fuse. Fuse status monitoring is available via Modbus®.</p><p> </p><p>Manual group movement of blinds can be triggered using the “UP” and “DOWN” function keys. Additionally, a reference run can be performed by moving the blinds to both end positions, allowing the system to automatically determine the travel times. This process can also be triggered individually for each channel via Modbus®. Malfunctions are indicated via Modbus® and the “MODE” status LED. The LED can be turned off completely via Modbus® or set to blink mode for service purposes.</p><p> </p><p>The WAGO Sunblind Box also features eight digital inputs that are not logically linked to the outputs. The input data is accessible via Modbus® for further processing by the Modbus® master. Additionally, the inputs can differentiate between short and long button presses.</p><p> </p><p>The WAGO Sunblind Box supports de-energized initial commissioning via NFC technology. Placing a smartphone on the NFC area automatically opens a link to the app or app store, allowing the user to easily transfer settings such as the IP address and device name. These parameters take effect upon the box's first startup.</p>
