This braking resistor is an option for variable speed drives of Altivar range. It has an Ohmic value of 10Ohms at 20°C. This braking resistor allows your variable speed drive to operate while braking to a standstill, by dissipating the braking energy and enables maximum transient braking torque. Its protection index is IP23. It weighs 67kg.
