The XI613201 encoder module enables the connection of a 24 V incremental encoder (24 V HTL) in a ctrlX I/O station. Input frequencies up to 100 kHz can be evaluated. Alternatively, it can be used as an up/down counter. The 24 V encoder supply can be provided directly via the module's connection points. The four additional digital inputs, which are designed in 2-wire technology, are used to record application-specific signals (e.g., blocking, saving, referencing).<br><br>The logic and peripheral power supply as well as the EtherCAT-based module communication are routed through the module.
