<p>This digital input module receives control signals from field devices (e.g., sensors).</p><p>The module is a 4-wire device allowing direct connection of sensors with functional ground contact.</p><p>Each input module has a 3.0 ms noise-rejection filter.</p><p>Field and system levels are electrically isolated.</p><p>When using the functional ground CAGE CLAMP<sup>®</sup> connection, the field power must be reapplied after every seven digital input modules (750-407/040-000)!</p><p></p><p><b>The device is ideal for operation in extreme environments thanks to:</b></p><ul><li>An extended temperature range</li><li>Greater immunity to impulse voltages and electromagnetic interference</li><li>Higher vibration and shock resistance</li></ul>
