Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI rated current 16 A

The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly rated current 16 A supports rapid, correct installation. Whether on PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to make connections according to various requirements in next to no time. The color coding and mechanical coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). I coding in blue is used to label WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors, which are used primarily in automation of buildings for controlling lighting. The WINSTA® MIDI product line achieves total flexibility for the electrical installation. With its Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology, it ensures error-free, time-saving installation and offers customization and flexibility for meeting all installation requirements. According to the European CPR, the fire class of the cables used for construction is essential for building safety, too. For houses with medium-level safety requirements, cable assemblies with fire class E are suitable. The cable assembly is free of halogen. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production. It also achieves a higher fire class, since halogen-free materials do not easily ignite.

Pluggable connections instead of screw connections – cable assemblies from WAGO

The cable assembly is equipped with a socket and a plug. WINSTA® is the pluggable connection system that is perfectly tailored to the strict requirements of electrical installation. It allows error-free installation of cables and components, quickly and reliably. Take advantage of the pluggable version of our maintenance-free spring pressure connection technology too! Plan your installation with with strain relief hosting from WAGO.

effective protection against mismating

simple circuits

with I coding for use in building automation (lighting control)

custom-engineered solutions

convenient installation and commissioning
