The WAGO EEBUS Connector App offers a future-proof solution for seamless communication between grid operators and energy management systems. The EEBUS protocol can be used for various applications around the grid connection point. In all application areas, the control commands for limiting energy consumption and production can be integrated and reported back to the grid connection point via the control box. The goal is to display the control box data within the data layer, so that all interfaces and data points of the grid connection point are available for further processing. This makes an integrated energy management system for consumers and storage units possible. This enables the grid operator, in accordance with §14a EnWG, to reduce power consumption in systems through grid-serving control when needed, helping to prevent grid instability.
