Communication module, Modicon M580, Profibus DP Master, for severe environments

This communication module is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC)and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This Profibus communication module is equipped with 1 SUB-D 9-pin female for Profibus DP. This ruggedized product can be used in more severe environments, and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25°C to +70°C/-13°F to 158°F. Modicon X80 provides a single environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs. Its casing provides IP20 protection of the electronics. This module has a weight of 0.270kg. This product meets the needs of our customers from Smart Infrastructure, Water and Waste Water, Consumer Packaged Goods, Mining Minerals Metals, Data centers and Power generation. This product complies with CE, UL, CSA, RCM, UKCA and EAC standards and is certified for Power Generation, Merchant Navy, Railway and Hazardous areas applications.
