B&R SafeDESIGNER maintenance single upgrade -------- B&R Automation Software Upgrade Service Agreement Agreement between the purchaser of the Upgrade Service Package, called Customer in the following text and Bernecker + Rainer Industrie- Elektronik Ges.m.b.H., A - 5142 Eggelsberg, B&R Straße 1, called B&R in the following text. 1) Object of the agreement The object of the agreement is the services rendered for the Upgrade Service, which takes effect when an Upgrade Service Package with model number 1A43S1:U1 or 1A43S1:U5 or 1A43S1:UU is purchased. 2) Service rendered for the Upgrade Service The services rendered for the Upgrade Service includes free delivery of the newest version of B&R Automation Software to the customer's address by B&R for a duration of 12 months from the date of purchase. 3) Delivery contents Delivery is initiated by the customer using the "Order CD" function on the B&R homepage (Material related downloads -> Automation Software). The customer receives a certain number of CD-ROMs, depending on the Upgrade Service Package ordered: Upgrade Service Package / Maximum number of CD-ROMs 1A43S1:U1 1 CD 1A43S1:U5 5 CDs 1A43S1:UU 20 CDs 4) Extending the Upgrade Service After the 12 months has passed, the Upgrade Service will be automaticall extended by B&R for another 12 months unless B&R is requested by the customer to end the Upgrade Service. 5) Ending the Upgrade Service The Upgrade deliveries from B&R will be ended if B&R is requested by the customer in written form to end the Upgrade Service agreement 4 weeks before the 12 months have passed.
